With the big news of Ivan Provorov being traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets in a three-team trade. The Flyers acquired LA Kings goalie Cal Peterson as part of the deal.
This move has sparked NHL trade rumors about the possible departure of goaltender Carter Hart from the Philadelphia Flyers.
Flyers have let teams know Carter Hart is available for a trade
Craig Button was on TSN and was asked what teams would be interested in a Carter Hart trade. Button feels teams will be hesitant to make a trade for Hart right now.
The caveat is that until the full report of the 2018 World Junior team is released, teams will be reluctant to make a trade for Carter Hart as he was part of that team that was investigated.
Teams will not want to give up assets if players end up being suspended from that report.
Darren Dreger did tweet out that the Flyers have let teams know Hart is available.
The Ottawa Senators, Toronto Maple Leafs, Buffalo Sabres will have interest in Hart as he is 24 and has an affordable 3.979 million Flyers salary cap hit.
