NHL rumors have been making the rounds on what the Ottawa Senators will do with forward Alex DeBrincat.
It is looking like DeBrincat would like to be traded and only be traded to teams of his choice. He is a restricted free agent but is due a massive qualifying offer from the Sens at $9 million.
Which teams will make a trade for Alex DeBrincat?
Pierre LeBrun was on TSN’s Insider Trading segment and reports Alex DeBrincat’s agent has submitted a list of teams DeBrincat would be willing to be traded to.
LeBrun went on to say in his TV hit that if DeBrincat is indeed traded, the Senators would want him to be signed to a deal before a trade to get maximum value back.
Senators GM Pierre Dorian will be looking for a similar return he paid Chicago when they made the DeBrincat trade. Ottawa gave up the 2022 No. 7 pick, a 2022 second-round pick, and a 2024 third-round pick to Chicago.

Penguins fan here. I watched Connor McDavid and Alex DeBrincat play together. I’d love to see him in Pittsburgh. Doubt it would happen though. Maybe reunite them in Edmonton.
