Picture of Pierre-Luc Dubois. Will he be traded to the Habs, Rangers or Wild?
Pierre-Luc Dubois will be traded this offseason with the Habs are his preferred destination. The Rangers and Wild also have interest.

A lot of NHL trade rumors have swirled around on Pierre-Luc Dubois for the past year. Most rumors have had Dubois headed to the Montreal Canadiens.

With Dubois officially requesting a trade out of Winnipeg, other teams have expressed interest in acquiring the big forward.

Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers interested in a Pierre-Luc Dubois trade

Jeff Marek was on his Jeff Marek radio show and stated that Pierre-Luc Dubois’ preferred destination is the Montreal Canadiens but he would be ok with a trade to the New York Rangers or Minnesota Wild.

Elliotte Friedman chimed in on the show to state that Dubois wants to be a Hab and with Montreal management knowing this, they are not going to pay a “ransom” to complete a Pierre-Luc Dubois trade.

What are NHL fans saying about a Pierre-Luc Dubois trade

Clearly Dubois wants to play close to Montreal, if not the city itself. So NYR, BOS, OTT, and Toronto. All quick flights home.

The Minnesota Wild have finally found a player who has listed their team as his Plan C option. Congrats to them for that. Happy for them. They deserve it.

Maybe the NY Rangers can package Vincent Trocheck and Barclay Goodrow to Winnipeg for Pierre-Luc Dubois, then trade him to the Habs for picks. Gets NYR out of contracts with a lot of term left. Solves their cap issues.
