Hudler earned $4 million per season on his last contract but could probably be had for around $3 million per on a short-term deal.
The Chicago Blackhawks seeking scoring winger
CSN Chicago: Like the Buffalo Sabres, the Chicago Blackhawks hoped to sign Jimmy Vesey. They will now look towards free agency to sign a winger. They will look at signing either Jiri Hudler or Brandon Pirri. The Hawks have around $2.4 million in cap space, there is doubt Hudler will accept anything below $2 million. Pirri might be the best available option for the Blackhawks.
