TSN.ca: The Columbus Blue Jackets have 9 defenceman on the roster and Bob Mckenzie feels the Blue Jackets could trade Jordan Leopold, Cody Goloubef and/or Kevin Connauton before Mar. 2, in a move to shore up the future.
The Fourth Period: The Anaheim Ducks and Buffalo Sabres are taking about a Tyler Myers trade. The Ducks have the assets to part with and are looking to go deep in the upcoming playoffs. The Sabres reportedly have a very large price tag including a top prospect and a draft pick.
The Hockey News: The San Jose Sharks might look at trading goaltender Antti Niemi at the NHL trade deadline. Niemi is an unrestricted free agent in July and his playoff record with the Sharks is largely disappointing.
