The Columbus Blue Jackets have re-signed Jack Roslovic to a two-year contract extension worth $8 million through the 2023-24 season.

NHL trade rumors floated around earlier this season that the Columbus Blue Jackets were looking to trade forward Jack Roslovic at the NHL trade deadline.

The rumors proved to be wrong and the Blue Jackets have re-signed Roslovic to a two-year contract extension worth $8 million through the 2023-24 season. The contract has a Blue Jackets salary cap hit of $4,000,000 and does NOT include a no-trade clause.

Roslovic, 25, who is a Columbus-native posted career highs in 2021-22 NHL season with 22 goals and 23 assists for 45 points in 81 games.

Roslovic was drafted 25th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1st round of the 2015 NHL entry draft. He has a total 146 points in 309 games played, and 5 playoffs points in 20 games played.
