The Montreal Canadiens are sellers at the NHL trade deadline but it is looking like they want to be a buyer too. NHL trade rumors are making the rounds that the Habs are interested in a Pavel Zacha trade.
Zacha’s trade value will vary from team to team, it could be a team looking for a depth forward for a playoff run or a team like the Canadiens hoping a change of scenery energizes his career.
Elliotte Friedman was on Sportsnet radio’s The Jeff Marek Show and stated Montreal is one of the teams interested in a Pavel Zacha trade.
NHL rumors last month also have the Vancouver Canucks interested in Zacha.
Zacha, 24, was the No. 6 pick in the 2015 NHL draft. Teams interested in Zacha are hoping a trade could revitalize his career and live up to his potential.
