Once left for dead and not sure if he would get his NHL career back-on-track the Philadelphia Flyers have signed defenceman Michael Del Zotto to a multi-year contract extension.
War-on-ice.com reports that the deal is a two-year pact worth an average annual value of $3.875 million.
Del Zotto, 25, scored 10 goals and 22 assists in 64 games with the Flyers last season. It was his first with the club after being signed by the Flyers in the summer of 2015.
