Matt Read has signed a four-year, $14.5 million contract extension with the Philadelphia Flyers.
The deal has an average annual value of $3.625 million, and kicks in for the 2014-15 campaign.
Read had 11 goals and 13 assists in 42 games last season. In 121 career games Read has tallied 35 goals and 36 assists.
