Defenceman Justin Faulk has signed a six-year, $29 million contract extension with the Carolina Hurricanes.
The average annual value of the deal is $4.833 million.
The 22-year-old blueliner has three goals and 21 assists in 65 games this season for the Hurricanes, and averages more than 23 minutes of ice time for the team.
