Winnipeg and Colorado interested in a Jonathan Toews trade

Elliotte Friedman was on the Jeff Marek Show on Sportnet radio and was discussing possible Jonathan Toews trade scenario’s.

Friedman went on to say in his radio hit that the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche seem to be the two most logical destinations for Jonathan Toews.

The Avalanche or Jets will likely have to find a 3rd team involved to help absorb the salary cap hit. Friedman stated that he has heard from a few General Managers that the asking price in a Toews trade will be a 2nd round or 3rd round draft pick.

What are fans saying about a Jonathan Toews trade?

The Seattle Kraken should target Jonathan Toews

2nd and 3rd round draft pick should amount to full retention by the Blackhawks… Toews can help a playoff team on face-offs and that’s about it… maybe a little PP2

Guy isn’t worth a 5th round draft pick right now
