The St. Louis Blues have unloaded Vladimir Tarasenko and Ryan O’Reilly. They still might have a few other players they want to move out, but that does not mean they are not interested in making a significant addition at the NHL trade deadline.
The St. Louis Blues are looking to retool their team and not rebuild. They already have young stars Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou signed long-term and they will be looking to make the playoffs next year.

St. Louis Blues interested in Jakob Chychrun?
Elliotte Friedman was on his 32 Thoughts Podcast and stated one of the teams interested in a Jakob Chychrun trade are the St. Louis Blues.
Friedman went on to say in his Podcast that the Blues now have the draft assets to make the trade as the Arizona Coyotes have no desire to take on a whole lot of money. They want draft picks.
The Blues have their own 2023 first round draft pick, plus a first rounder from the New York Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs.
So let me get this right. The Blues trade O’Reilly and Tarasenko, and the return would be Timo Meier or Chychrun is the return on investment? This draft is the deepest since 2003, having 3 number one picks is a great way to start a TRUE REBUILD!!!
