Toronto Maple Leafs: Captain Dion Phaneuf is out ‘week-to-week’ with an upper-body injury. Phaneuf hurt his hand during a fight against Eric Staal on Jan. 19 in a loss against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Colorado Avalanche: Defenceman Erik Johnson is expected to miss at least three to eight weeks after having his knee scoped. Johnson has 12 goals and 11 assists in 47 games with Colorado this season.
