The Montreal Canadiens are looking to shed some salary before taking a run at a Pierre-Luc Dubois trade and they have let teams knows that Christian Dvorak is available for a trade.
NHL trade rumors floated around at the NHL trade deadline that the Habs were looking to trade Dvorak but a deal could not be worked out.
Dvorak could also be included in a trade for Dubois, but it looks like the Winnipeg Jets have no interest in Dvorak being part of a trade package.
Dvorak has value for teams as his Habs salary cap hit of $4.45 million for three more seasons is attractive to teams.
Dvorak’s no-trade clause does not kick in until the 2023-24 season, so there is no restrictions on what team he could be traded to.
