NHL rumors have the Minnesota Wild offering up the following trade package.

To Minnesota Wild :
Evgeny Kuznetsov at $4.68 million with two years remaining until unrestricted free agency and 40% salary retained.

To Washington Capitals :
Minnesota’s 1st Round Pick in 2025, 7th round pick in 2025, LW Marcus Foligno at $3.10 million with one year until UFA, and LW Marcus Johansson at $2 million with two years until free agency.

What are NHL fans saying about a potential Evgeni Kuznetsov trade to the Minnesota Wild?

Not going to happen. Washington wants a roster player and not two salary cap dumps and draft picks for Kuznetsov.

Solid trade rumor. Washington will NOT get what they want for Evgeni Kuznetsov. Take a first round pick and be happy.

With Kuznetsov having a brutal season last year, his value is not high. Trade him at the NHL trade deadline.
