Picture of Calgary Flames goalie Dan Vladar. Will he be traded to the LA Kings?
The LA Kings are having some goaltending woes and NHL rumors are circulating that the team could target Flames goalie Dan Vladar.

The Los Angeles Kings, a franchise with a rich history of goaltending excellence and hoping to find the next Jonathan Quick, face early-season goaltending challenges.

During the club’s first two games, NHL analyst Frank Seravalli of The Daily Faceoff recently highlighted the struggles of the Kings’ goaltending tandem, Cam Talbot and Pheonix Copley.

The early performances of the current duo have raised questions about the team’s ability to maintain that tradition.

NHL rumors: Will the Winnipeg Jets be relocating to Atlanta?

Will the LA Kings make a trade for Calgary Flames goalie Dan Vladar?

Seravalli has proposed a potential solution to this early-season issue: acquiring Calgary Flames‘ goaltender Dan Vladar for a second-round draft pick or exploring the option of signing free agent Jaroslav Halak.

Dan Vladar, a promising goalie prospect, has demonstrated his potential in limited NHL action, while Jaroslav Halak brings a wealth of experience and reliability between the pipes. Both could provide the Kings with a stabilizing force in the crease.

It’s essential to remember that it’s still early in the NHL season, and goaltending can be an unpredictable aspect of the game. Talbot and Copley may find their rhythm and help the Kings regain their footing in the net.

What are NHL fans saying about the LA King goaltending?

Talbot is Matt Murray version 2.0. I am not sure the Kings have the salary cap space to trade for Vladar or sign Halak.

If the Kings ever find cap space, they should target Bruins goalie Linus Ullmark.

The Kings are stuck with the goalies they have. Talbot played well in the Kings 5-1 over the Jets. He made 26 of 27 saves.
