NHL trade rumors were flowing at the NHL trade deadline that the Arizona Coyotes would trade Jakob Chychrun but they never received an offer that could facilitate a trade.
Darren Dreger tweeted earlier today that the New Jersey Devils are offering up their second overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft for Chychrun.
Dreger also stated the Ottawa Senators are willing to trade their 7th overall pick in a Chychrun trade.
The Devils seem like the likely choice to trade for Chychrun as New Jersey is done with assembling draft picks and prospects. Their goal for the 2022-23 campaign is to make the playoffs.
