In game two of the Boston Bruins vs Carolina Hurricanes series, David Pastrnak came in on goalie Antti Raanta and threw a needless punch to the head of Raanta and knocked him out of the game.
The big question is, will Pastrnak receive a suspension for the sucker punch? In the video below, the punch does look harmless but it must have caught Raanta in the chin to give him enough dizziness to leave the game.
The Hurricanes are already without Frederick Andersen and it could be trouble for the Canes if Raanta is out for an extended period of time.
Pastrnak was given a two minute minor for the punch.
