Patrick Kane trade Vegas or Dallas
Will Patrick Kane be traded? The Dallas Stars and Vegas Golden Knights have interest in a Kane trade if he waives his no-move clause.

With the NHL trade deadline just over two weeks away, teams are trying to figure out what players can they trade for and can they fit that player into their current salary cap situation.

Two teams that are looking to make a significant move at the trade deadline are the Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Stars.

Dallas and Vegas both lead their divisions by narrow margins and will look to keep the their top spots by adding to the lineup.

Patrick Kane headed to Dallas or Vegas?

Patrick Kane was rumored to be headed to the New York Rangers but with the Blue Shirts trading for Vladimir Tarasenko, that has squashed those rumors.

Elliotte Friedman was on his 32 Thoughts Podcast and discussed Patrick Kane. He feels Kane would be a great fit in Edmonton but just does not see Kane’s salary cap hit working there.

He went on to say in his podcast that he does see a fit in Dallas or Vegas. Mark Stone will likely be put on LTIR and that will open up $9.5 million in cap space for the Golden Knights.

The Stars might need a 3rd team involved to reduce the Kane salary cap hit or a player with salary would have to go back to Chicago in a trade.

What are fans saying about a Patrick Kane trade to Dallas or Vegas?

Kane needs to ask himself do I wanna play the rest of the year in Chicago or would I rather play for a team that can win in Vegas or Dallas.

Get a third team involved and get him to the Dallas Stars.

I’m not sure the Vegas Golden Knights need an additional aging, expensive, potentially injury prone player in Kane.
