Corey Perry becomes the first player in history to lose three straight Stanley Cup Finals with three different teams.

Perry has lost the last three Stanley Cup finals playing for the 2022 Tampa Bay Lighting, 2021 Montreal Canadiens and the 2020 Dallas Stars.

Don’t feel too bad for him, it is still a great achievement, he is just having no luck in getting his second Stanley Cup.

Perry, 37, is signed for another year with Tampa Bay at a Lightning salary cap hit of $1,000,000.

Perry will have another decent shot at the Cup next year as betting sites already have the Lightning with the third-best odds to win the Stanley Cup at +900, after the Avalanche (+450) and Toronto Maple Leafs (+850).
