Hart trophy finalist Claude Giroux was arrested for allegedly grabbing a male police officers butt.
The Philadelphia Flyers say they are aware of stories out of Ottawa “surrounding” Claude Giroux.
The team says it is not commenting further until they have more information.
Ottawa police say the can’t comment on the media reports because no charges have been laid.
When asked if Giroux was still in custody, a police spokesman said he “is no longer here.”
Police say they don’t expect charges to be laid.
