Edmonton Oilers sign Cam Talbot to three-year extension
The Edmonton Oilers signed goalie Cam Talbot to a three-year contract extension.
The deal is worth $12.5 million and holds an AAV of $4.17 million. The contract 3-year breakdown is $4.15 (includes $1 mill bonus on July 1), $4.15, $4.2. No-move clause for 1st two years and modified no-move in year 3.
Talbot, who had been set to become an UFA at the end of the season, owns an 8-13-3 record in 26 games with the Oilers this season.
The Calgary Flames, Dallas Stars and Florida Panthers all tried to trade for Talbot last year.
