Defenseman Brett Kulak has signed a three-year, US$2.45-million entry-level contract with the Calgary Flames.
The 20-year-old native of Stony Plain, Alta., has 14 goals and 46 assists in 69 games with the Western Hockey League’s Vancouver Giants this season.
Calgary drafted Kulak in the fourth round (105th overall) of the 2012 NHL draft.
