Bob McKenzie of TSN is hearing that Bobby Ryan of the Anaheim Ducks is “available” again and Ryan is so fed up with the Ducks that he is now demanding a trade.
If the Ducks are trading Ryan, McKenzie thinks it would be for 2 or 3 building block pieces that would increase depth but not payroll.
The Carolina Hurricanes will kick tires on Ryan like they did over the winter. They think he would be a perfect fit for the team.
The Montreal Canadiens are also very interested in Bobby Ryan as they need a big power forward.
Other teams with serious interest are the NY Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers
