TSN Radio 1050: Darren Dreger was on TSN Radio 1050 this morning and Dreger was talking about the play of Joffrey Lupul and how the Toronto Maple Leafs will probably trade him at the NHL Trade Deadline if he stays healthy.
Lupul is currently tied for 2nd in Leafs scoring. Lupul has a $5.25 million cap hit until 2017-2018. That is a decent cap hit for a NHL team IF he stays healthy.
Last year the St. Louis Blues were very interested in Lupul. With the injuries the Blues have had this year, a call might be made to the Leafs from the Blues.
