TSN 1050: Darren Dreger was on Toronto’s TSN morning show and mentioned the St. Louis Blues are seeking a top-6 forward and will probably have to deal one of their defenceman or top prospect to land what they desire. The Blues do have interest in Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul. The Columbus Blue Jackets, LA Kings and Boston Bruins are seeking a top 4 d-man and a deal could be made with one of those teams to land a top-6 forward.
Calgary Sun: With the Calgary Flames off to a slow start, the Flames could be looking to trade Jiri Hudler who’s eligible next summer for unrestricted free agency.
