Now that the NHL Trade Deadline has past, teams are wondering who will be available this off-season, which includes the Seattle Kraken expansion draft.

Elliotte Friedman has stated, coming out of the enormous Detroit/Washington deadline deal, does anyone ask Steve Yzerman about Dylan Larkin?

Friedman went on to say, one of the reasons Anthony Mantha and Jakub Vrana were traded was due to frustration with their play (and, especially in Vrana’s case, his own consternation at the way he was being used). But another key factor is that the Red Wings feel their rebuild will take longer than originally predicted.

Steve Yzerman let every team know that all players were available except Larkin, 2020 first-rounder Lucas Raymond and 2019 first-rounder Moritz Seider (and possibly co-leading scorer Filip Hronek).

If Yzerman can land a big haul for Larkin this off-season, he will likely be traded as the Detroit Red Wings continue to look for high draft picks and top prospects in their rebuild.
