Mark Scheifele, forward for the Winnipeg Jets has been in the NHL trade rumors mill all summer long with him being tied to the Boston Bruins and New York Rangers.
There have been rumors about the Bruins trading for Scheifele, but nothing has been confirmed yet. However, with the NHL season approaching and the Bruins in need of a center, a trade may happen soon.

According to Mike McIntyre from the Winnipeg Free Press, NHL General Managers returning from vacation could cause the trade market to heat up in the coming weeks.
McIntyre believes Mark Scheifele makes perfect sense for the Boston Bruins and suggests GM Don Sweeney call Kevin Cheveldayoff and make him an offer he can’t refuse.
NHL trade rumors have the Bruins offering up Jake DeBrusk and a first-round pick for Scheifele.

Scheifele does make perfect sense for the Boston Bruins. I just don’t think they have the assets the Jets want.
As a Winnipeg Jets fan, I hope we re-sign Scheifele, but he will test free agency. I say we hold onto him until the NHL trade deadline and get a haul for him.
He will NOT be a Boston Bruin. They have nothing we want and that include Jake DeBrusk.
Boston DOESN’T NEED SHEIFFLE
Bruins do not need a center right now. They should be fine going into the season as long as they do not sustain any injuries. Not very deep.
The Bruins don’t have any assets left, the can’t make another trade or rebuild the team.. The owners are clueless and Sweeney is a Yes man who destroyed the team by inept and incompetent ownership running this team.

Scheifele won’t be a bruin, Lindholm will be though. Sweeney just got back from his vacay in the keys. He spent the entire time on his 80 foot yacht the “The Never Get Anything Done,”.
Neither will be, it’s a BRIDGE year.
Scheifele will be traded but not to the Bruins.
The Rangers have the assets the Jets want and that will be his likely destination.
