The Anaheim Ducks have played well this year and currently sit in a playoff spot. Many NHL analysts thought the Ducks would be sellers at the NHL trade deadline but that may not be the case if they decide to make a playoff run.

One player that playoff teams will be interested in is Rickard Rakell. The Ducks will have to decide if they will use him as their own rental or trade him and bring in some young assets or a draft pick.

Frank Seravalli of the Daily Faceoff reports that Rakell is the one Duck most likely to be traded. He is 28, has a salary cap hit most teams can take on and can fit well on a second line role.

Rakell, has a cap hit of $3.789 million and does not own a no-trade clause so they Ducks will be free to trade Rakell to a team that offers up the best trade package.
