The Toronto Maple Leafs have the skill but lack the grit and drive to win battles for pucks and it has shown in all their loses this season.
If they want to be a Stanley Cup contender, they need more sandpaper in the lineup.
Max Domi wanted to be a Toronto Maple Leaf
Nick Kypreos in his Saturday column in the Toronto Star reported Toronto Maple Leafs GM Kyle Dubas turned down a Max Domi offer in the summertime.
Kypreos went on to say, Domi would have taken less money than the $3 million he took from the Chicago Blackhawks.
Domi is far from perfect, but he would have definitely provided more attitude on a Leafs team that’s lacking it so far.
