The Detroit Red Wings sit last in the NHL with 13 pts in 21 games. The Red Wings had a tough break in last years 2020 NHL entry draft by drawing the 4th overall pick with the worst record in the league. Detroit had 39 points with the 2nd last place team ( Ottawa Senators) having 62 points. The Wings missed out on Alexis Lafreniere, Quinton Byfield and Tim Stuetzle.

The Red Wings will be sellers at this years 2021 NHL trade deadline and the three players that are likely to be traded are, Bobby RyanLuke Glendening and Marc Staal.

TSN’s Frank Seravelli stated on Insider Trading that Luke Glendening leads the league in faceoff percentage. Bobby Ryan is scoring on a contract that every team could fit and Marc Staal would certainly provide that experience on the backend that teams crave come playoff time. Just another way of saying that all three of those guys you can expect to be traded at the trade deadline.

NHL trade rumors are also going around that the Red Wings could look at trading Anthony Mantha at the trade deadline.
