Sean Monahan’s name has been floating around the NHL trade rumors mill for the past few months with a plethora of teams interested.
One team keeps coming up as the most logical destination is the Colorado Avalanche.

Pierre LeBrun was on TSN’s Insider Trading segment and stated the Colorado Avalanche are a team to monitor when it comes to Sean Monahan.
LeBrun went on to say in his TV hit that Colorado management expects Gabriel Landeskog to come back before the playoffs so it will be difficult to have the salary cap room to go make a trade for Bo Horvat or Ryan O’Reilly. Monahan is a cheaper alternative for the Avs.
