The Wild must balance whether it would be worth surrendering draft picks or young players for a rental player. Adding a goalie seems the most obvious possible move for Fletcher. But he said the trade talks include defensemen.
HNGN: The New York Rangers, according to TSN’s Elliotte Friedman, are interested in acquiring defenseman Andrej Sekera from the Carolina Hurricanes. Friedman noted that while teams like the Rangers are showing interest in Sekera, the Hurricanes’ first hope is still to re-sign him.
