One Eastern Conference team is showing interest in a Evander Kane trade. Could it be the Penguins, Panthers or Hurricanes?

With Evander Kane set to come back from suspension on Tuesday November 30th, one team is showing interest in making a trade for Kane.

Kane was placed on waivers yesterday and he is expected to clear and will report to the Sharks AHL affiliate the San Jose Barracuda to get back into game shape.

Larry Brooks of the New York Post is reporting one Eastern Conference team is showing interest in making a trade for the troublesome forward. Brooks states, he does not know what team is showing interest but it is not the New York Rangers.

There are NHL rumors floating around that the Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers and Pittsburgh Penguins could have interest in Kane. The Sharks have stated they are willing to retain half of Kane’s salary for a trade to happen.

Kane, 30, has a three-team trade list as part of his contract but does not own a full no-movement clause. If Kane wants to continue his NHL playing career, he will likely accept a trade to a team not on his three-team list.
