The Anaheim Ducks have traded forward Carl Hagelin to the Pittsburgh Penguins for forward David Perron and Adam Clendening in an trade finalized overnight.
The Ducks are still very much in on trying to land Jonathan Drouin despite this early morning trade.
Perron, 27, will be a UFA this summer and has struggled with the Penguins. He has only 16 points in 43 games this season with the team. The trade will give financial flexibility to the Ducks.
Hagelin, 27, had four goals and eight assists in 43 games during his first season with the Ducks.
