Good Chance Steven Stamkos signs with the Toronto Maple Leafs
TSN Radio: Local Toronto Station TSN 1050 was discussing the possibility of Steven Stamkos signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Most people believe he will not be back with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Former Tampa Bay GM Brian Lawton has stated that Stamkos wants to play in Toronto and believes he will sign with the Leafs. Toronto may not be able to pay him max money, but it is believed Brendan Shanahan will pitch Toronto to Steven Stamkos, tell him how much he will be loved in the city and the extra money he would make from advertising during his time in Toronto and after his career is done.
Latest P.K. Subban trade rumors
Fan 590: Elliotte Friedman was on the radio talking about P.K. Subban. He confirmed that the Oilers have offered the 4th overall draft pick and Leon Draisaitl. The Montreal Canadiens are also asking for Oscar Klefbom. Friedman also said the Colorado Avalanche are interested in Subban but unwilling to give up the assets to make a trade.
Buffalo and Montreal interested in Cam Fowler
TSN 1050: Darren Dreger was on TSN radio this morning and was reporting that the Buffalo Sabres and the Montreal Canadiens are interested in defenceman Cam Fowler. Dreger states the Anaheim Ducks want the Sabres 2016 8th overall pick or the Habs 9th overall pick for Fowler.
