Phil Kessel New York Rangers

Hockeyfeed.com: Now that MLSE has committed to a full rebuild, there are rumors going around that the New York Rangers and the Toronto Maple Leafs have been discussing a Phil Kessel trade. What this trade rumor reveals is the asking price for Kessel.  The Leafs want Chris Kreider, one of the Rangers top prospects in either Anthony Duclair or Brady Skjei, a 1st round pick in 2016 and a 2nd rounder in 2015.

Ottawa Sun: The Ottawa Senators made a trade offer for Evander Kane but could not match the Buffalo Sabres offer.  Bryan Murray could not pay the price GM Kevin Chevaldayoff wanted and didn’t have the first-round pick the Buffalo Sabres offered.

TSN.ca: Darren Dreger was on TSN1050 this morning saying Jets GM Kevin Chevaldayoff  has been contacted by several teams about the availability of recent acquisition Tyler Myers. Chevaldayoff is still seeking a top 6 forward but will not trade Myers right now. Dreger thinks he could flip Myers in the off-season.
