Hockeyfeed.com: Now that MLSE has committed to a full rebuild, there are rumors going around that the New York Rangers and the Toronto Maple Leafs have been discussing a Phil Kessel trade. What this trade rumor reveals is the asking price for Kessel. Â The Leafs want Chris Kreider, one of the Rangers top prospects in either Anthony Duclair or Brady Skjei, a 1st round pick in 2016 and a 2nd rounder in 2015.
Ottawa Sun: The Ottawa Senators made a trade offer for Evander Kane but could not match the Buffalo Sabres offer.  Bryan Murray could not pay the price GM Kevin Chevaldayoff wanted and didn’t have the first-round pick the Buffalo Sabres offered.
TSN.ca: Darren Dreger was on TSN1050 this morning saying Jets GM Kevin Chevaldayoff  has been contacted by several teams about the availability of recent acquisition Tyler Myers. Chevaldayoff is still seeking a top 6 forward but will not trade Myers right now. Dreger thinks he could flip Myers in the off-season.
