Sidney Crosby out with a concussion

The Hockey News: Is it time for the Pittsburgh Penguins to trade captain Sidney Crosby. Crosby is now past his peak years, but the Penguins can still cash in, the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs or Los Angeles Kings could betrade destinations. As for those who doubt the Penguins would trade their captain, the Edmonton Oilers traded icons Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier.

Ottawa Sun: Anaheim Ducks GM Bob Murray is trying to make a roster move and is listening to offers for defenseman Cam Fowler, but he’s set a high asking price for the blueliner and will only ship him to an Eastern Conference team.

StarTribune: The Minnesota Wild would like to trade forward Jason Pominville. Trading his hefty contract would be an issue. The Wild may look at trading goalie Darcy Kuemper but will likely wait until the season is over.
