Florida Panthers interested in Dustin Byfuglien?

The Fourth Period: The Florida Panthers could take a run at Winnipeg Jets All-Star defenseman Dustin Byfuglien. Panthers GM Dale Tallon worked in Chicago when Byfuglien was a member of the Blackhawks and he is interested in making a trade. Other teams interested in Byfuglien are the Dallas Stars, Los Angeles Kings, New York Islanders and Ottawa Senators.

Courier-Post: The Philadelphia Flyers would love to trade Vincent Lecavalier, but his contract makes him almost impossible to trade. The most likely scenario will be the Flyers buying out Lecavalier in June.

The Carolina Hurricanes are looking to trade Jeff Skinner

The Hockey News: Left winger Jeff Skinner tops GM Ron Francis’ list of players he’d most like to move this season. Skinner, 23,  has four years remaining at an annual cap hit of $5.75 million. The Hurricanes could toss in a prospect in a package deal to get Skinner off their books.
