Ottawa Senators trade rumors

Boston Bruins looking for scoring help

NBC Sports: Joe Haggery is reporting the Boston Bruins are looking for some scoring help. The Bruins have now won just four times in their last 15 games spanning the last month of play and a divisional lead that was once in the 15-point range is now down to just six points.

Haggerty believes the bruins need some scoring help outside the organization to truly make themselves into a more dangerous attack.

Haggerty thinks the Bruins should target players like Chris Kreider from the New York Rangers, or Tyler Toffoli from the L.A. Kings, or Kyle Palmieri from the New Jersey Devils, but it’s clear the B’s need them sooner rather than later — no matter who they end up being.

Latest Ottawa Senators Rumors

Ottawa Sun: Bruce Garrioch reports the Ottawa Senators will be busy at the 2020 NHL Trade Deadline. Senators management will talk with the likes of Jean-Gabriel Pageau and defencemen Mark Borowiecki and Dylan DeMelo to see if the can get them signed to a contract extension. If no extension is reached, expect them to be traded.

The Senators will likely look at moving forwards Vladislav Namestnikov, Tyler Ennis, Scott Sabourin and defencemen Ron Hainsey and Cody Goloubef. Veteran goalie Craig Anderson will only be dealt if other NHL teams show interest, but it’s not known if that’s been the case yet.

  1. Please give Mark borowiecki what he deserves in a new contract. He deserves allot better.

  2. There are three of us Senator’s Fans who watch every game and for sure we don’t want Mark Borowiecki or Deylen Melo to be traded. If we lose Mark Borowiecki we will have lost the heart of our Senators Team. He is too valuable in our community. It was bad enough to lose Jean Gabriel Pageau. Give the fans a break & give him a generous contract that he so deserves& lets keep him & his family in Stittsville,.With losing Zack Smith & Mark Stone that hurt enough. Lets do this right this time
