Dallas Stars Valeri Nichushkin signs two-year KHL deal
TSN.ca: Dallas Stars restricted free agent Valeri Nichushkin is headed home.
Nichushkin signed a two-year deal with CSKA of the KHL. The two sides agreed to a contract after Moscow-based club bought his rights from the Moscow Dynamo. Nichushkin, 21, was selected 10th overall in the 2010 draft by the Stars. He scored nine goals and added 20 assists with the team last season.
New York Islanders sign Ryan Strome to two-year deal
TSN.ca: The New York Islanders agreed to terms on a two-year, $5 million deal with forward Ryan Strome. Last season, Strome scored eight goals and added 20 assists in 71 games with the Islanders.
Strome was drafted fifth overall in 2011 and posted career highs in goals (17), assists (33) and points (50) in 2014-15.
