The Score: Igor Larionov, the Hockey Hall of Fame player-turned-agent, and Ian Pulver were both dropped by Alex Galchenyuk. Galchenyuk is a pending restricted free agent, and negotiations with the Montreal Canadiens are now on hold until he finds new representation.
Larionov quote:
“Ian and I were trying to help him to become a good hockey player but, more importantly, to be a good human being”
WEEI: One of the main items on Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney’s agenda this summer will be signing restricted free-agent defenseman Dougie Hamilton to a new contract. Hamilton is believed to be seeking a deal worth upwards of $6 million to $7 million per season
Darren Dreger: Anaheim Ducks general manager Bob Murray remains open to contract talks with pending unrestricted free agent Matt Beleskey. Unless negotiations escalate unexpectedly this week, Beleskey is expected to become a UFA on July 1.
