Mitch Marner has missed the last few games and not much was known on what type of injury Marner suffered. Now it is known.
Marner is expected to miss three-to-four weeks with a shoulder injury. Marner either collided with Jake Muzzin or was hit that likely caused a shoulder separation.
With NHL Rumors floating around that the Leafs will need to shed salary for Petr Mrazek to return to the lineup might be put on hold with Marner’s $10.5 million salary moved to injured reserve.
