With NHL rumors circulating that the Columbus Blue Jackets are looking to trade Joonas Korpisalo, that move maybe put on hold as Korpisalo has been placed on injured reserve.
Joonas is out of action, not because of an injury but a non-COVID illness.
Korpisalo is not having a great year, which is making it tough for the Blue Jackets to make a trade and get assets back. Joonas, 27, has played in eight games (seven starts) this season and has a 3-4-0 record.
