The New York Rangers will be without centre Derek Stepan indefinitely with a fracture in his left fibula.
Stepan, 24, incurred the injury during a conditioning drill. He will miss 4-6 weeks.

Datsyuk sustained the injury in Detroit’s preseason opener against the Pittsburgh Penguins when he was checked into the glass by Penguins defenseman Rob Scuderi.
