The New Jersey Devils have locked up young star forward Jesper Bratt to a nice team friendly 8-year, $63 million contract extension with a cap hit of $7.875 million/year.

Bratt had a career year with the Devils where he put up 73 points (32g, 41a) in 82 games last season.

Bratt, 24, was drafted in the 6th round, 162nd overall by the Devils in the 2016 NHL entry draft.
