NHL trade rumors for July 10, 2022 feature the New York Rangers interested in completing a J.T. Miller trade. The cost will be Lafreniere or Schneider.

Now that the NHL Entry Draft 2022 edition is over the focus is now on players like Johnny Gaudreau, Jack Campbell, John Gibson, Darcy Kuemper and J.T. Miller.

Miller is the player right now getting the most interest in the NHL trade rumors mill. At the NHL trade deadline reports had the New York Rangers looking to make a Miller trade and it looks like they will try hard this offseason to complete the trade.

Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic reports teams are calling Vancouver Canucks GM Patrik Allvin about a J.T. Miller trade with the Rangers being the most interested of those teams.

LeBrun feels a Miller trade could happen as early as this coming week if the right trade package comes up.

It has been reported that if the Rangers want Miller, the Canucks want Alexis Lafreniere or Braden Schneider in return.

Miller’s contract expires at the end of the 2022-23 season and why he is so attractive for teams is he has a very affordable $5,250,000 Canucks salary cap hit this year.

Miller had 99 points (32 goals, 67 assists) in 80 games last season.
