The Vancouver Canucks are looking to trade Adam Gaudette for some defensive help and give the team a shakeup.

Elliotte Friedman is reporting the Nashville Predators have interest in Vancouver Canucks forward Adam Gaudette, who has played in 12 of Vancouver’s 16 games this season.

Gaudette, 24, can become a restricted free agent this off-season and is making $950,000 this season.

It is rumored that the Vancouver Canucks are looking for a defenceman in exchange for Gaudette. Last year, Gaudette had 12 goals and 21 assists for 33 points in 59 games.

Gaudette has struggled to start the season and the Canucks are sending out feelers to teams to see if they can get a roster defenceman in return to complete a trade.

Canucks Jake Virtanen is also on the trade block with a few teams showing interest in the winger. Vancouver is looking to make some sort of move to give the team a shake up and make a push for the playoffs.
