Will John Tavares sign with the Toronto Maple Leafs?

Now that Steven Stamkos has re-signed with the Tampa Bay Lightning, rumors will now start about John Tavares and what will he do when he becomes a free agent in July 2018? With Stamkos, the team has made it to the Stanley cup final and conference final the last two years. Why would he want to leave that? Stamkos was happy in Tampa. Rumors have been going around for a while that Tavares is unhappy with the Islanders and might welcome a change. Just like with the Steven Stamkos situation, the Toronto Maple Leafs will be a front-runner for John Tavares.

Will Jacob Trouba receive an offer sheet?
