The Boston Bruins want a player of equal value for Jake DeBrusk. The Oilers, Flames, Blues and Hurricanes all have interest in a Debrusk trade.

Last week Jake DeBrusk requested to be traded and plenty of NHL rumors have been floating around. It has been reported by many media outlets that as many as 10 teams are interested in making a trade.

Elliotte Friedman was on Sportsnet Saturday Night Hockey’s 32 Thoughts segment and reporting the Boston Bruins want a player of equal value for DeBrusk, whether that be a forward or defenceman.

Friedman went on to say a trade is not imminent and the Bruins will take their time in a DeBrusk trade and wait for the best offer to come forward.

Nick Kypreos has also confirmed there is plenty of interest in DeBrusk. He was on Toronto’s local radio station The Fan 590 and stated the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, St. Louis Blues and Carolina Hurricanes all have interest in a DeBrusk trade.

DeBrusk was in the dog house quite a few times last season and now he is in coach Bruce Cassidy’s dog house again this season. You have to think a trade will happen sooner rather than later so this does become too big of a distraction for the team.
